Recently, the Construction Industry in Macau has been developing rapidly, but, the human resources are lacking a lot. For this reason, the project management of constructional projects must be optimized – increasing the communication between personnel, reducing the errors in communication, avoiding repeating jobs due to human errors, so that the waste of man power can be kept to a minimum and the progress of the projects can be speeded up . How to achieve the above goals? The casino projects in Las Vegas deployed “Buzzsaw” - a construction project management platform from Autodesk and achieved the above goals. According to the statistic data collected by Hurwitz Group in 2002. After deploying Buzzsaw, the investment of that platform can be earned back in two months and the Return On Investment can reach up to 370% in 12 months, on average.

CPTTM held a seminar on 15th Nov from 14:30 to 17:00 at our Head Office (Rua de Xangai 175, Ed. ACM., 7 andar Macau), which is named “ Efficient Management of Construction Projects with Autodesk Buzzsaw - Case Study of Casino Projects in Las Vegas”. This seminar is jointly hosted by Autodesk Far East Ltd.In this seminar, we are glad to have the Project Manager of Friedmutter Group in US, Mr. Leo Lauer to share their experience on using Buzzsaw on the casino projects in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, the Customer Implementation Director of Autodesk Inc. US, Mr. Tony Peach will talk about the future strategy of Autodesk.
