Along with the rapid development of the economy and the increasing  commercial intercourse in Macau, e-mail has become one of the main communication tools. Today, with the popularization of technology and networking, computer virus and spam has come a delicacy problem.

In order to let the professional and the public who frequently use the computer network realize the problem's importance, Auditors and Accountants Association, CPTTM, Computer Chamber of Macau and E-Commerce Association of Macau joinly hold a seminar named "Anti-spam and anti-virus DIY" from 15:00 to 17:00 on 23th July 2005 at CPTTM Head Office. Through the seminar, they introduced participants the concepts and software tools to fight spam and viruses.

Content:
  • Fighting spam DIY: Hiding email addresses, using a spam filter.
  • Fighting viruses DIY: Keeping computers updated, installing anti-virus software.
