In December 2005, Mr. Simon Tam, the senior engineer, on behalf of
CPTTM received an award of "Cisco Networking Academy Program
Outstanding Award 2005" from Cisco in the yearly Cisco Academy
Council Meeting.
Starting from 2001, CPTTM had become the Regional Acadamy in
Macau, of the "Cisco Networking Acadeny Program". Over the past years, CPTTM has been continuously devoting to promote and participate in this Program. E.g. Setting up a series of courses, training the instructors and students, co-organising the first "Hong Kong/Macau Youth Networking Skills Competition" with Cisco and so on. This time we got the award, mainly because of our long term contribution towards Cisco Network Academy and the resulting achievement, that we have trained more that 200 network engineers so far. Also, we have developed an "Active" teaching method for delivering difficult networking knowledge, so that the networking knowledge can be promoted to Middle school students and hence, promoting the networking technology development in Macau.
In 2005 , CPTTM used an interest teaching method to train those students who had participated in "Hong Kong/Macau Youth Networking Skills Competition", resulting their outstanding results - 9 students separately won the Merit prize and Best Performance Prize. Regarding the future roadmap, CPTTM will continue to perserve our aim : " We serve to Develop and We Develop fo Serve" and continue to introduce useful IT knowledge to the Public. Along with the continuous development of the Economy of Macau, the demand for networking technicians has further increment. So CPTTM will continue to organise more courses on network technology as well as introducing more advance technical courses and so on.
