Signing of “Module Accreditation Agreement” between  
                   Macau Inter-University Institute & Macau Productivity & Technology Transfer Center          

The Macau Inter-University Institute (IIUM) and the Macau Productivity & Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM) held a press conference on Jul 13, 2004 (Tuesday) to announce their “Module Accreditation Scheme” ; during the conference, both parties signed an agreement for this regard.

This “Module Accreditation Scheme” is an important step in concretizing the framework agreement signed by both institutions in April 2003. According to the framework agreement, both institutions have agreed to strengthen cooperation in the development of new professional training and assessing the existing courses; the objectives are to contribute to the improvement of services provided by both IIUM and CPTTM, to share experiences in the scientific and pedagogical areas, to establish ways of interchange of personnel, namely in the academic, scientific and technical fields, as well as to prepare studies and other reports – all for the enhancement of human and scientific resources of Macau.

CPTTM have launched a Life-Long Learning with IIUM. Through this Scheme, individuals could apply for exemption from certain prerequisite modules if they have successfully completed CPTTM courses in the following areas: 
  • Delphi Programming
  • Java Programming
  • A+ Certification (OS Technologies)
  • Network+ Certification
  • Oracle DBA Career Program
  • Cisco Networking Academy Program
  • Certified Information System Security Professional
  • Professional Website Programming
