The
5th GZHKMO skills competition hold every two
years and together organized by Guangzhou Labour & Social Security、IVocational Training Council and Direcção dos Serviços para os Assuntos Laborais. It aims is to provide a test of professional
skills for the youth of the three areas , to promote technology exchange and deepen the three vocational training
institutions mutual understanding and enhance the level of vocational skills of the youth. The competitions was held
at Guan Zhou Baiyun international convention center on 15th ~
16th, Nov, 2008. The Macao Delegation has taken in 5 skill competitions, included image
design scope, 3D model design and animation scope, mechanical and
electrical scope, electric installlation scope, and chinese
cooking scope
and among those competitions , the selection of the Macao Delegation
for "3D model design and animation" competition is responsible by CPTTM.
3D model design and animation
The players in the 5th GZHKMO skills competition "3D model design and animation" are below the age of 24 years old. The project of each group use of Maya, Photoshop, Painter and Acdsee etc. to contest in the tournament two days total of 16 hours. They must follow the reference to finish the 3D modeling in the frist day and the animation at the second day. The reference which are provided by Guan Zhou, Hong Kong and Macao specialists included the model front view, side view pictures and the model simulated movie.
This competition result - "3D model design and animation" skill competition hold on the first year. The Macao delegate, and also is CPTTM student CHEONG CHI PAN win the third among the players of this scope. Eric Chan, the Macao specialist, said that all the local players chosen in this scope were college students, in addition, The Guan Zhou delegates are more skillful.Macau players regardless of skills or spot to play in less indeed. CHEONG is weaker than the Hong Kong and Guan Zhou players in the experience scope. In this competition , the three players have all made their best efforts and also learned a wealth of experience .
