Objective The CompTIA certification program is the world's 2nd most popular IT certification program, just after that of Microsoft. The Network+ certification is an important one in the program. After certification the attendees can prove their network skills to their current or prospective employer. On average, Network+ brings an salary increase of 13%.

This course will prepare the attendees for the Network+ exam.

Assessment There will be a quiz in each session except the first one. There will be a final exam on the last session.

    Prerequisite Having attended A+ Certification (220-602 IT Technician) or equivalent. Please create an e-learning account and then do the self-assessment to check.

    • EXAM: 19:00-20:30, Jan 22, 2009.
    Fee Per student: MOP1,600; one certification exam included (see Remarks): MOP3,040.. Those who pass the assessments and whose attendance is 80% or greater will be reimbursed 75% of the fee; Those who pass the assessments but whose attendance is 50% or greater but less than 80% will be reimbursed 50% of the fee; Those who fail in the assessments but whose attendence is 80% or greater will be reimbursed 50% of the fee.

    Certificate Qualification Certificate issued by CPTTM (for students who have attained at least 80% attendance and passed all assessments).
    Remark
    • This course is included under the "Training Scheme for Human Resources Upgrading." For details, please refer to the Scheme pamphlet.
    • This course will be reimbursed in standard fee MOP1600.
    • An other option is MOP3040, can attend Network+certification exam at CPTTM , which cost about MOP1740. The exam deadline is half year after the end of the course.
